HELLO

Some interesting things that I have learned in the Galapagos is about the different kinds of animals and what they do.
For example the Giant tortoise has split into several different species of tortoise to help with its every day living like the saddle back tortoise has an extra stretchy neck that can reach up and feed from the flowers of the prickly pear cactus. Some tortoise species has tried to cross one of the volcano's of Isabella island, its name is Wolf volcano and there are many tortoise bones on its deadly, rocky surface. Some tortoises are still on its surface but because it can take months before it can take a drink or eat food so it will take months for it to die.
The Galapagos islands have volcanic hot spots that when the Galapagos were first created from eruptions on the surface of the earth. David Attenborough  explains a little more about the archipelago in videos about things like the Marine Iguana and the Galapagos hawk.

An idea that I want to learn about is probably history of chocolate as I am keen to learn about how to make chocolate, How did chocolate come about and how does chocolate have so many variations. I love chocolate just as much as I love sports.

GOOD-BYE!!!

Mission Fair!

Hey Guy's!
Last week we had the Mission Fair! It was soooo fun that I thought my shoes would get up and start dancing! Anyway if you haven't heard of the Mission Fair you must be raving Mad! as the Mission Fair is one of the most Awesomest thing like EVER!! In my opinion anyways. But the Mission Fair is one of the busy days where you raise funds for something in my case for Vanuatu for they got hit by a cyclone! Any how the funds come from the stalls that the years 6, 7, and 8 of course and depending on what the others have that is what they will buy. All the funds will go and get sent to the places that need it most like Caritas or Africa.

Anyways I was in a group with a few of my friends called Slender-Craft which is a game based on Slender and if you haven't heard of it play it yourself and I guarantee  that you will be scared out of your right mind. But the stall was based on Minecraft PC and Slender which was held in the darkest corner of the kitchen which was past the filing cabinet down a little alley way sort of thing that abruptly halts in your face 3 meters from the door! However it seemed like the ideal place to use so we used it and after running around a lot grabbing a lot of equipment we were ready to go even having a mascot and it was the enderdragon boss from Minecraft named Douglas the dragon.

The first one to play was a boy named Sam and he was asking to play and he was soon seated at a computer happily playing along in the virtual world. Everyone was given 15 minutes play on the computers before it was time to get off and everyone was still buzzing with excitement with the knowledge of the other stalls.

At the end of the successful day we raised over $1000 and with a final count we ended up raising over $2400 but if there was 1 thing I would change it would be to have worn mufti.
