Why the Predictions? CAN'T IT BE SOMETHING ELSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HELLO EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And I am back for another Blogpost for the week. It's on the Big Day Out for the end of this year and in previous years my favourite of the Days off school. The other bit is to reflect my favourite moment or event this year. I'll do number two first. My favourite event during the year had to be the time when we had the first day of Athletics, when we had to do some things in order to try get into the Northern Zones and if you're lucky to Inter Zones and after that regionals. It was my favourite because I got into the Northern Zones. I also enjoy the first day of Athletics as I like doing all the things to try them out. It also gives you the chance to see if you've gotten better at anything, like throwing things as far as you are able to.

The second part of this blog is to predict where the Big Day Out will be. The thing with predictions is that you don't know what's going to happen to it, if you're right or wrong. But then again isn't that the point? For the end of year I predict that the big day out will be at the rock climbing place out the water front. It's just a prediction so don't yell at me please. I liked this place so much that I went back a couple of times in order to relive the experiences.

The last part to this blog is my favourite Big Day Out in the past. I will have to say that my fav was the time when we went to H2O Extreme. IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm going to go back there for a Basketball break up.

So this is my blog for the week. Hopefully this isn't the last time for the year and until next time

Year 8 next year

HELLO EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hope you guys are doin okay. It's time for another post and this time it's on next year! Next year I'm going to be a year 8 so I'll be taking up the role of the new year 9's. It should be alright being year 8 but I'll be missing some of the old year 8's from this year. There are some upsides to staying in the school like dodgeball. Some people love and some people hate it. Personally I love the sport. It's very fun and quite the game to practice catching and dodging as the game implies.

Another thing is year 8 camp. Hillary Outdoors. The activities should be fun and challenging, but the chores boring. Some things you get to do for camp is ride down a Flying Fox which is a zip line. There's also sea kayaking, caving, and other activities that I must have forgotten about. Probably bridge jumping too.

Other things I will most likely enjoy is gonna be things like sitting on chairs during assembly. It's always cramped on the floor and it always hurts your butt. Having the upper hand in Dodgeball is also a good thing. Though the year after that will be a college year and there will most likely be twice the work.

So this is what I should be looking forward to next year and until next time

Mommy's here to throw you in the closet and never remember you :D

HELLO EVERYBODY!!!!!
And welcome back to another blog post for this week. Sorry It's come a bit late but stuff's been happening and I got into the Inter zones for Athletics so...........................................Yeah.

Away from that and onto the post. this week is on Last week. Confusing? Not really. Last week was book week and had many things and activities like finding Golden Tickets and having an author come in to talk to us about. You guessed it. Her Books. Kate De Goldi was her name and apparently went to my very. same. school. I couldn't believe it the first time it was said. And still can't believe it right now! *I'm going off topic* I have to write about 3 of my favourite things that I liked about last week and I think I have just the thing...................................................

The very, VERY first thing that I will write about would have to be the Golden Tickets. It was sooo fun! Mr McGurk hid Golden tickets around the school and ended up giving prizes to those who found it. If you get the question right that I will throw you at the end of this blog post then I might just give you a prize later ;) I was close to one but it ended up going to someone else:( So Sad. Oh well. They were very fun though and may I ask, PLEASE do it again? In all there were 3 or 4 main hunts.

Next on my list would have to be the book quiz. I was chosen to do a quiz in front of the rest of the school. I was pretty upset that we didn't win but still went out there and gave it a try. In the rest of the team was Fraser, Jarden and Frankie. I found it rather fun and if there would be another book week quiz then I would study up to complete the challenge.

The last thing that I liked about book week would have to be the Parade last Friday. It was quite cool to see what people had dressed up as. Especially the teachers! The intermediate teachers were dressed as a wonka bar, one of them was Verruca and many others like Mr. Wonka. I was dressed as Hollyleaf. She's from warrior cats, a book series made by Erin Hunter. My eyes were discolored and didn't have any ears but still went to show my costume.

So these were the highlights to my book week and this is my blog. Until the next time

@#%@%#^@@!?%$@!##E*%$ WOE?

Hey Everyone!

I know, I know this is the second blog this week and it has nothing to do with normal blog posts for the week but it still has stoof to do with school but if you want to read that's fine keep reading. This time its a book review on the warrior book Into the wild so get comfortable and enjoy.

Into the Wild is a fictional, make believe book based on or around cats in the forest. The very first main character that you end up meeting would be a cat called Rusty who used to be a regular house cat. He shared his father's curiosity and fascination with the wild cats and their code that they live by. Throughout the first series you follow Rusty and his adventures as he embarks on perilous missions set by his new clan leader, Bluestar. As Rusty claws his way to leadership through hard earned respect he has to endure a lot of different dilemmas like being accepted into Thunderclan. Near the end of the book there is an epic battle between the new warrior's beloved Thunderclan and Shadowclan, The clan of a tyrant leader. Rusty who was renamed Firepaw was involved in this battle with his friend Graypaw. At the very end of the book both Graypaw and Firepaw Earned their Warrior names being Graystripe and Fireheart. I would recommend this book to cat lovers and people who like fantasy books.

ROOOAAARRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Heelooo Everybody and welcome back to another blog post for this week. I would have done this all yesterday but I had Northern Athletics to attend to so..... yeah. It's book week this week and my favourite book series that I liked when I was younger was probably the Eragon series which was quite a good book series and it still is. The series was made by Christopher Paolini and is very long but cleverly written. This is my favourite book series and to find out more you have to read the book series so that I don't spoil it for you and until next time...

Does anyone like utube?......................................................................No? D: Y U NO LIKE UTUBE!!!!!!!

WELCOME BACK EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hope every reader had a good long week end :D

Back to business this week was to write about anything you find interesting and what I find interesting is an anime called Shokugeki no Soma which is Japanese for Food Wars. IT'S AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! At the moment there is only one season of it but the creators are probably gonna have to make another one for sure! ( I'm not to sure myself).

This anime is really good and I would suggest reading the storyline (manga) first as it tells you what happens before you watch the actual anime. Who knows. You might like it and continue to watch it until the next episodes come out.

So the main characters are A 9th grader 15 year old kid named Soma who can do amazing looking things with food and can be a bit of a dope. Next is a girl called Tadokoro Megumi (Megumi being the first name.) who is always nervous and on rare occasion won't be, and sometimes will write the man character on her hand repetitively to calm herself. Later comes Sakaki who is an expert in ji.
Sakaki has her own fermenting workshop so she can prepare whatever she needs. Yushino is a very lively yet always ever changing person. What I mean by that is she would be happy one minute then depressed the next. Her role in the whole thing is dealing with all the animals like breeding top notch chickens or keeping her animals in her room (Most likely for cooking).

If I were to go on it would be incredibly boring so I’m going to end it here. Hopefully you watch the anime and until next time…

Second week of school and it is as boring as ever. 'Sigh' anyway it that time that I will deliver a blog for this week and the topic is what kind of job that I would like to do in my grown up years.
Let's get started.

The thing that I would like to do when I grow up is to be a marine biologist. Its either that or be a Marine Veterinarian. I think it would be quite cool to study the plants and animals that live in different parts of the sea.

The reason why the idea of becoming a marine biologist or vet is appealing to me is because I like being underwater a lot of the time and have grown to love being in water and the feel of it as well as recording how healthy all the plant life is or looking after marine animals that may be injured as I am also an animal lover.

If I wanted to take this job for serious I would have to take a whole heap of Science and Biology as well as maths.

Some activities that I could do out of school to help me develop skills for my Dream job would be something like deep sea diving and science classes.

Now that's the end to my blog but before I put an end to my blog post I have a question for you.
What kind of job will you take?

GOODBYE HOLIDAYS HELLO SCHOOL!

HEY EVERYONE AND WELCOME BACK to my very first blog in the last term of the year. In this blog I have been told to write about something that I did in my holiday. I don't know what to do for my blog but I think I will do two or three things, maybe even more so sit back and try to read through or if you can't then read the most interesting bits.

So in the holidays I went to my cousins birthday on the Saturday and her name was Ariana. For her 12th birthday we went to the skate rink in Whanganui. Even though almost everyone fell over in the rink as it was so slippery in blades it was so fun. We were there for 2 hours at least.

A few days later I went to see the Scorch Trials which is the next movie to the Maze Runner. Three Words. IT. WAS. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! It made me want to see the third movie...................... Aaaaannnyywayyyys. In the scorch Trials (SPOILER ALERT!)  they escape from some sort of Facility because it was alongside wicked trying to find a cure for something. Along the way they lose someone. I think his name was Winston..... Something like that :D If you haven't seen the movie yet GO WATCH IT!!!!! IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!

Away from that and onto the third thing I did. So again I went off with Ariana to Peat Park to feed some deer as at the the park is also a deer reserve. At first we tried to pet them but all the deer were a bit too scared of us so they lingered near the back... Until we bring something for them to eat that is! The only male in the herd of 9 deer is a big PIG!!! he eats a whole bag full of grass on his own! 'Sigh' Ohh well. At least they like nuts and grass.

The last thing I got up to in the Holidays was go to my most favoured cousin in Whanganui who is Ada. She turned 10 this holidays and I ended going to it like I have been doing for the past 10 years for her birthday. Ada, Taika ( Her younger brother), and I all went to the skate park for a bit of a skate around and then came back to find the others watching a movie-How To Train Your Dragon 1.

So this what I got up to in the Holidays and it was the best 2 week holiday I've had in a while. Hope you've enjoyed reading my blogpost and until next time

GOODBYE!!!!!!!!!!

HELLO EVERYBODY!!!!!!!

And welcome to another blog post for the week. For this weeks blog we are going to be doing art.......
again.....
'sigh' :C

Well since the art exhibition was last week I think I'll start with that. The art exhibition was a success which I don't think is a surprise as this school has many talented artists in the school not naming any. The school was split into many different sections is what I would find interesting. Our exhibition was called Journey to the center of the earth. I think it was a cool name. The idea was that you would get swept away to one location to the next starting underground and then gradually moving up to space.

Our class did a Space themed part for the exhibition, as did room 12. Many weeks worth of work and effort. Seems it paid off.

Well I'm going to end it here with a few pics of the art we did.
 Until next time

Fear and Sadness. :C ;D

HELLO EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!
And welcome to my blogpost Today. In this blogpost I am going to be sharing one of my favourite poems which is probably one of my latest works which is my Fear poem. Here it is for you.

Fear is a chance you don't take.
It follows you, wrapping you in darkness.
Fear spreads from person to person,
Tightening your throat,
Leaving you in Tears.

So that was my fear poem and that was my emotional poem and my second one is quite bad for my standards anyway. I'll give it to you guys anyways so yeah! Here it is.

The hollow pit in your stomach,
Your eyes dull and glazed,
Tears gathering behind them.
Sadness is a weight waiting to be lifted,
Your body refusing to move,
Collapsing in a burst of tears.

The Fear poem is my favourite because it just sort of came easily to me to think of and put on paper.

And yeah. so those were my poems and some of my latest works too. So I hope you have enjoyed this weeks short blogpost and until next time...

PEACE OUT GUYS!!!!!!

Donatello the sculpting master!!!!!!

Hello and welcome to this blog post Today.

In this blog post you are going to read about a famous artist that I like and I like an artist called Donato di Niccolo di Betto Bardi and his statues. He was better known as Donatello.
Donatello was born in the year 1386 as it does not say what date he was born on but he was the son of Niccolo di Betto Bardi. He was educated in the Martelli house and when he grew older made statues of people most likely.

As he lived Donatello made many statues of many people and made them all in different places like he assisted Lorenzo Ghiberti to make statues of profits for the North Door of the Baptistery of Florence Cathedral. What ever that is. Any ways I liked his art Maybe because the art looks cool and I don't think I could ever do that kind of sculpting by myself or at all in that matter.

Donatello died on the 13th December 1466 Florence, Italy aged 80 years old.
I'd say he lived a long life. When he was younger though he made some pretty impressive sculptures in my point of view. Here are two of my favourites!

The Gattamelatta!

Donatello himself!

Well I hope you have enjoyed this blogpost and maybe if you want to say something then leave a comment down below and maybe even follow my blog and until next time...

Hey Everyone!! Dan here from the Diamond Minecart. Wait WHAT!! I am NOT the Diamond Minecart so I am very confused. This is about Flag choosing Not YouTube!! Anyway I hope everyone likes flag choosing cause it is time to talk about choosing the new New Zealand flag...

YAY

NOT!
Either way it is time to begin.

The first Flag I would choose out of the 40 designs of flags would be the Land Of the Long White Cloud because I think it looks nice enough to be our flag if the time comes to change the design. It still has the Traditional Blue and the Red stars in the southern cross shape but it is still quite different to the current flag.
The Land Of The Long White Cloud

The second Flag I would go for would be the Manawa Blue and Green because I like wavy type things and it looks nicer than the Manawa Black and Green. The Manawa Blue and Green I like better than the other one because of the way they kept some features from the other flag like the stars.
Manawa (Blue and Green)
The 3rd flag I would like to choose would be the silver fern ( Black, White and Blue) Because the silver fern is an essential part of New Zealand as well as the kiwi. It holds a lot of symbolic meaning as well so I like it. The colours are seemingly in a sort of harmony with each other too.
Silver fern ( Black, White and Blue

The very last flag that I would go for would be the New Zealand Matariki which has the Seven stars of Matariki on the top bit with rolling hills on the bottom. I would choose it because even though the design sets us apart from the common wealth flags it still holds a bit of meaning.

New Zealand Matariki

Out of these 4 flags I like the Land Of The Lon White Cloud the best because it was like a sore thumb sticking out from the rest. Don't forget this is MY OPINION!! NOT YOURS!!!

Some opinions for changing the flag would be to set us apart from the Common Wealth flags and to just change the flag as it gets quite boring having the same flag year after year after year as well as being our own country.

Some reasons for me being against the new Flag is because you could spend 26 million bucks on anything and I would give away a portion of it to countries who are less fortunate than us. Another reason is that why would you spend $26 million on something that doesn't really need changing I mean. Come on people! $26 million could be spent on other things!

My Over all opinion is that we don't really need to spend $26 million and I want to keep it the same SO THERE!

I hope you have enjoyed reading this blog post and if you have then please leave a comment in the comment section down below and until next time......

PEACE!!!!!

Who likes Art these days?

HELLO everybody and welcome back to this blogpost today.

This time it is time to talk.....
About.....
ART!
YAY!

Alright then. My favourite Art form is in fact Sculpting.
If I had to try to sculpt anything it would have to be a European Dragon or Sea Serpent because of their stunning structures.

If K had to improve anything in sculpting I would think it would be the designs on the sculpture because you need to have a steady gentle hand or else the entire thing would get crushed. Also when designing the actual thing needs very careful thinking and concentration.

Do I have any good ideas for a school art exhibition? Well if your asking me that then I think I have a pretty good idea about it. My idea is sculptures displayed around the classroom.

I think I'll upload picture of art work that I've done this year.

Well that's me for this week and stay tuned for next weeks blog.

PEACE!!

Say who now!?

HELLLLLLOOOOO everybody!

Today is who I would invite to dinner, although, one of them has to be real though and I think I have someone in mind......

If I had someone in mind as a fictional character I think it would have to be a Clan Cat who is now in a Clan called Starclan and her name is Snowfur. I would invite her because because she is one of my favourite Thunderclan cats that there is in the forest ( If you don't get what I'm saying then you should read the Warrior cats series because of the references I make in my blogs!) Another reason why I would invite her is because of what she went through so I sort of feel sorry for her because she lost her mother when she was 12 moons old!!!! 12 moons!!!

Away from Snowfur the other person I would invite to dinner is my great- grandmother Evelyn as I don't really see her very much. She also came with me to Australia one time for my 7th birthday! It meant so much!

Another thing to do is to ask a few questions for my guests to answer. First up is Snowfur and I'll ask her a few questions like 'Do you miss your son Whitestorm and your mate Thistleclaw?'
I would ask that question because Snowfur is in Starclan so she's dead. SO SAD!

Away from the death of Snowfur and onto Nana Evelyn. YAY!! the question I would ask is 'how long did you own a shop for?' as she used to own a shop somewhere in Masterton I think.

So this is pretty much my blog so I hope you have enjoyed reading this blog post and please do leave a comment in the comment section down below and until next time....

PEACE!!!!!!!

Hello Everyone!!!
I hope everyone is getting on well. Anyways. Time for the blog to be done.

My good memory about my Great-grandfather is the time when he taught me how to do some outside work in the garden. It was fun to do even if it was an early start at 6 in the morning.

My Dad kept a careful eye on Granddad though, because he was getting old it was hard for him to walk very far without stumbling everywhere.

Granddad and I planted flowers and had a little Vegetable patch in the back yard where the biggest garden was. Down the little hill my job was to create an easy way down to everything and create different sections for the different vegetables. It was an occupying task to do especially if it was wood work and paint!!!

When I finished my task granddad had also finished his and that was preparing some fertilizer for the Kai-Food.

My good memories run for ages but I'm going to stop there. I hope that you have some nice memories about your family member and I'll get back to ya soon.

HELLO EVERYBODY!!!!!!!
I liked my first day at school but I would rather prefer a longer holiday anyway. Back onto business I didn't get round to much in my holiday even though I went to holiday program either way I still did something to pass the time.

For my first time back I had a bit of fun playing Sing star when everyone else was playing it and if not just sort of wandering around do nothing or sing along with the song. We all sang different songs and once my group got called up for doughnuts I was feeling half starved.

After lunch we had a shoot off to see who got free time first. It ended up being the middle section and then my section was called off then the very last section but at the time I didn't pay very much attention so to me I didn't really care.

The next day was Superhero day but seeing I didn't know or care I didn't do anything special for it. Superhero Day was sort of like any other day at Narnville so there I sat not doing much but staring into space.

Team up Day was on Wednesday and I didn't feel the best but not to rotten not to join in so I did and I was chosen to lead a group which I didn't really want to do to but did it any way to get it over and done with.

Trip Day was OK and sort of just sat there and read when we went swimming and played with Ross who had a cold so he couldn't swim but it was OK I guess.

The second week of the Holidays I got the flu but this flu was quite bad and when I went to the doctors on Wednesday I was diagnosed with Laryngitis. So I didn't do to much but play, eat and sleep.
Before I say bye let me ask a question. Do you know what Laryngitis is?

Wednesday, June 24, 2015

Hello everybody!!!!!!!!!

It is time.........
To talk about.......
NARNVILLE! I don't care what you guys think by the way. I think Narnville has been quite fun other than getting selected for leader of the group because I don't particularly like being a control freak at all. Some would disagree, but anyway,

Question Number 1! What have you enjoyed most?
I don't know because I don't really have a favourite thing to do. Although I think I would have enjoyed Football the most because I like to see the game from the playing field as apposed to the benches.

Question Number 2! What new skills have you learned?
Nothing really as I am playing Netball and Basketball this year so I don't really know anything new. All the things that I normally do have sort have showed up when my feet fly across the court then get the ball stolen.

Question Number 3! Do you feel that you have been pushing yourself to improve and be involved?
Well yes and no. The yes I feel I am pushing myself to be a spare person to pass to and no because I'm always just standing there waiting for a pass to be made when all the people are marking everyone but me.

Question Number 4! What could you do to get more out of the sessions?
Well nothing really because I'm not really chatty with people when I get serious with something but when I get serious with talking that's what I'll do, I'll talk.

Last Question! Do you have any suggestions for future Narnville lessons?
Yes I do and that is Basketball and if I were to have a second and third choice my other two choices would be Netball and Dodgeball but sadly I don't so I'll just go with Basketball.

Yay!!! I'm finally done with answering these questions. Hopefully I can do more sports.
Until next time,
GOOODBYYYEEEE!!!!

Hallo! Hallochen! Guten Abend! or Guten Tag!
These are Greetings in Germany as well as a 'good and I learned these through German lessons also known as Deutsch lessons- the language you speak in Deutschland- Germany.
I think these Deutsch lessons are sinking in do to the fact that I am part German myself and so is a lot of my friends such as Calvin who is also part German. Everything we have in common we do a high five. Normally we Room Eleviens watch a video called Ja pronounced ya that had several units that contained 20 minute videos or so. I don't really mind to much.
Ja has helped me a lot when it comes to Duetsch and I think I could use my newly found language when I go to Germany one day. Maybe even Berlin when the time comes! Although German is a handy language to speak I would like to speak Japanese as I would like to speak Japanese so I can go to Tokyo.

Being An EPIC Kid!!!!!

Hello everybody!
How is everyone?
Anyway.... Today I thought to talk about being an EPIC kid. EPIC is actually an acronym for our four school values which are Empathy Perseverance Integrity and Creativity. A time that I think I showed one of the school values is maybe when I was doing my title page and I may have shown Creativity. I don't know but it is on of the easiest to display towards others along with Empathy as well.
The most easiest value to display normally would probably have to be Creativity as I have a sense that helps me to create things like a picture that some people wouldn't think to do as I can do things out of the ordinary sometimes. I think things can get a little out of hand with my Creativity though like keeping cardboard boxes in my room! Wow. Anyways if you were going to ask what is the most challenging value for me to show I think it has to be Integrity although I don't know why.

Remember to be an EPIC kid!
Now that you have read this blog do you think you are an EPIC kid? or not?

"I stand here before you by the will of Starclan. Nightstar was a noble warrior, but he was old and he did not have the strength to fight the sickness when it came. His deputy, Cinderfur, died too."
That was a long quote from a treacherous leader named Tigerstar who was speaking at a gathering in a book called 'A Dangerous Path' which is book five of the first warrior series which is one of my favourite series EVER!!!!!!! Anyways if you haven't read the warrior series and if you absolutely love cats than sit back and enjoy a good read.

The characters are all cats but the main ones are a ginger tom named Fireheart, a long haired grey tom named Graystripe, a pale ginger she-cat named Sandstorm and a small dark grey she-cat named Cinderpelt. I like most things about the book is the way you don't expect things and how the books leave you in suspense and how they leave you asking 'What happens next?'.

I would recommend this series and all the other books to those who love cats and those who want a good read with a fiction book.

HELLO

Some interesting things that I have learned in the Galapagos is about the different kinds of animals and what they do.
For example the Giant tortoise has split into several different species of tortoise to help with its every day living like the saddle back tortoise has an extra stretchy neck that can reach up and feed from the flowers of the prickly pear cactus. Some tortoise species has tried to cross one of the volcano's of Isabella island, its name is Wolf volcano and there are many tortoise bones on its deadly, rocky surface. Some tortoises are still on its surface but because it can take months before it can take a drink or eat food so it will take months for it to die.
The Galapagos islands have volcanic hot spots that when the Galapagos were first created from eruptions on the surface of the earth. David Attenborough  explains a little more about the archipelago in videos about things like the Marine Iguana and the Galapagos hawk.

An idea that I want to learn about is probably history of chocolate as I am keen to learn about how to make chocolate, How did chocolate come about and how does chocolate have so many variations. I love chocolate just as much as I love sports.

GOOD-BYE!!!

Mission Fair!

Hey Guy's!
Last week we had the Mission Fair! It was soooo fun that I thought my shoes would get up and start dancing! Anyway if you haven't heard of the Mission Fair you must be raving Mad! as the Mission Fair is one of the most Awesomest thing like EVER!! In my opinion anyways. But the Mission Fair is one of the busy days where you raise funds for something in my case for Vanuatu for they got hit by a cyclone! Any how the funds come from the stalls that the years 6, 7, and 8 of course and depending on what the others have that is what they will buy. All the funds will go and get sent to the places that need it most like Caritas or Africa.

Anyways I was in a group with a few of my friends called Slender-Craft which is a game based on Slender and if you haven't heard of it play it yourself and I guarantee  that you will be scared out of your right mind. But the stall was based on Minecraft PC and Slender which was held in the darkest corner of the kitchen which was past the filing cabinet down a little alley way sort of thing that abruptly halts in your face 3 meters from the door! However it seemed like the ideal place to use so we used it and after running around a lot grabbing a lot of equipment we were ready to go even having a mascot and it was the enderdragon boss from Minecraft named Douglas the dragon.

The first one to play was a boy named Sam and he was asking to play and he was soon seated at a computer happily playing along in the virtual world. Everyone was given 15 minutes play on the computers before it was time to get off and everyone was still buzzing with excitement with the knowledge of the other stalls.

At the end of the successful day we raised over $1000 and with a final count we ended up raising over $2400 but if there was 1 thing I would change it would be to have worn mufti.
